The military coup council continues to commit atrocities, including murder, rape, and violence against women, as well as the use of rape and harassment as a weapon of war by military militias.
Since the evening of December 19, our women have been subjected to various kinds of violations under the coup government. Thirteen women were raped, including a child, and two children were raped in central Darfur at Bendsi Camp yesterday.
On January 25, a female student at the Hajjar Interior Ministry was raped, and the crime was covered up, not to mention the attack on the engineer Amira Othman’s home, , and her transport to an undisclosed location.
On January 25, a female student at Hajjar Univesity Dorms for Girls was raped, and the crime was covered up, not to mention the attack on the engineer Amira Othman’s home, , and her transport to an undisclosed location.
We in the Riyadh Resistance Committee condemn this barbaric behavior of the coup council and those who hide behind these crimes, and we will continue to escalate until the retribution and the trial of all those who committed crimes against our women.
We, the Riyadh Resistance Committee, denounce the coup council’s barbaric actions and the accomplices to these atrocities, and we will continue to escalate until all those who perpetrated crimes against our women are retributed and tried.
Justice and retribution against the criminals and the rapists of women is a debt that we must pay. Women’s bodies are not a battlefield, nor a bargaining chip over their rights.
We will hold all the murderers and rapists accountable.
We will fight until women roam our country without fear.
