We came out today out of loyalty and reverence for the martyrs, challenging the coup authorities and their violence, as well as the laws they enact in secret to dissuade the mass movement from continuing its battle, expecting that we will give up, but all of their efforts were in vain. Today’s processions began in front of the martyrs’ homes and coalesced in a magnificent and spectacular display of unity in Al Siteen Street.
Our heroic people:
We, Eash Khartoum Resistance Committees Coordination, affirm that we are on the martyr’s path to bring down the brutal authority that perched on the chests of our people with its tragic coup. Either we attain what we seek in a state of freedom, justice, and dignity, or we join our comrades, the most honorable among us, in the highest heavens, employing all means of nonviolent revolution in our cause.
To the revolutionaries:
Today, you formed a revolutionary portrait with your peaceful protest demanding the downfall of the killers, carrying flags decorated with pictures of the martyrs, chanting slogans and retribution literature for them. A portrait that expressed the future of Sudan, which should be a free, democratic and distinguished among nations and you, proved once again, that the people of Sudan are not afraid of guns, whips, or arrest. we’ll march to the streets again, shouting our slogans in the face of treachery and tyranny, until it is overthrown and sent to the dustbin of history once and for all.
