The coup authority devised some tricks to manipulate the law and and deceive the international community. Where the visit of the UN envoy, who arrived in Khartoum this week on a visit connected to the human rights file, was postponed to cover up their violations by coordinating with the security authorities to release 36 detainees, 14 of them were released and the rest were held in custody.

We hold the coup authority fully responsible for the health of the remaining detainees and the safety of their lives, and we assure you that imprisonment and detention have only strengthened our resolve and faith in our cause.
